Notes and sketching exploration for the composition of Arena. In the sketch on the left, the Sphinx appears in full body. It's a sketch I still like a lot, but Arena was losing its prominence. The sketch on the right works much better, especially with Sundari beside her.

The lineart of Arena and the Alchemist Sphinx. The concept of the hourglass is what drew me to have every mage of this series miniaturized in some way.
